Covenant Christian Academy Expands, Moves to Vint Hill
[Warrenton, VA] – Covenant Christian Academy (CCA), one of only two University-Model® Schools in Virginia, announced today that it will be combining its two Warrenton campuses and relocating to Vint Hill. The school’s newly renovated 16,000-square-foot building will be within walking distance of the Vint Hill gym and sports fields. The facility will include 17 classrooms for grades K-12, a science lab, and a large multipurpose room.
“Having grown from 14 to 144 students in seven years, we are clearly in need of more room to expand,” explains CCA principal Amber Sabia. “We see the new facility as a crucial aspect of fulfilling our vision: partnering with parents to educate with excellence and prepare students to impact the world for Christ.”
The school is experiencing strong demand from prospective students for next year, with many families attracted by the low tuition, non-traditional schedule, faith-based curriculum, advanced STEM classes, and small class sizes. “The expansion will allow us to welcome even more families to the world of University-Model® education,” says Mrs. Sabia. “We are delighted to finally enroll students who have been on our waiting list and open more seats for families interested in an affordable, high-quality Christian education.”
Renovations will be complete by August 1, 2017, and the school will open its doors for the first day of classes on September 1.
Barbara Freeman, CEO of NAUMS, Inc: University-Model® Schools International stated, “The stakeholders of Covenant Christian Academy are to be commended for their commitment to excellence in education, as their school has achieved remarkable growth over the past eight years. We are thankful for God’s provision of a new home for their students and staff.”
